Like the Rose Without a Thorn

Image
This full length kimono from OASAP is the perfect way to break into your winter wardrobe. I'm avoiding the wooly jumpers for a bit longer with the black, tassels and dark floral print. And as usual, I'm wearing it with heavier, leather accessories - buckle boots and a backpack - to make it more casual and fun. OASAP have an amazing selection of kimonos right now, for decent prices, so check them out here . OASAP kimono OASAP sunglasses New Look body Vintage shorts Primark belt eBay backpack Topshop boots

Check Mate - Front Row Shop

Image
I love checked, gridded and plaid patterns at the moment - oh, and monochrome - so this dress from Front Row Shop is the perfect way of combining these styles; the 60s way. This simple mini dress with opposite top and bottom colours definitely called for a sweeping half up half down hair style and black liquid eyeliner, which isn't my usual choice. I found these glasses from OASAP to make the look even more retro. I kept the grunge element with my chunky buckle boots and the heavy gold earrings to compliment the glasses. The dress can also work more casually with a jacket and flats, or for a smart work event with the appropriate blazer and comfy heels. Don't forget, you can get $10 credit when you sign up to Front Row Shop  (and $5 more for filling in your details!), so check out their amazing unique designs that play on this season's most loved trends.   Front Row Shop dress OASAP sunglasses Topshop boots Banggood earrings

Motel Rocks - New Collection

This long sleeve rose print playsuit from Motel Rocks makes the perfect autumnal day and night outfit. If you're all for the black and white look instead of autumnal colours right now, this long sleeve jersey piece is super comfy but looks good dressed up in heels and a clutch. I chose my chunky buckle boots to keep it a bit more casual, and some woolly knee highs to keep warm, but with stud details to grunge it up a bit. With a cardigan and coat layered over the top (or worn with flats instead) this playsuit definitely works in the day too. This sketchy graphic print matches with a tattoo style choker necklace perfectly. Instead of a black or white bag, I went for my iridescent clutch to match with jewellery and pink lips. I like a mixture of metallics to compromise for the lack of colour. I went for my hair up purely to show the detail of the shoulders and wrap front. I felt the braid would soften the grungy styling and play on the feminine/floral aspect of the print. I shot in t...

Patriotic Paisley

Image
Red paisley, blue denim and a floaty white dress made this an unintentionally patriotic outfit. Not to mention my brand new leather classic converse which went perfectly with this OASAP dress . Such a crisp white fabric, with a feathery paisley pint. I especially love the pattern around the hem. Then it went perfectly with my dad's old denim jacket, of which my mum sewed in a Liberty red paisley lining. Frilly socks, a white backpack and scrunchie complete the outfit.
